WC Henderson After Prom
May 8-9, 2026!

Our Story
Since 1998 the parents of Henderson High School have organized an all-night party following the Senior Prom. We provide a Drug and Alcohol-free, safe, and supervised night of entertainment for the entire class.
Why do we do it? We love these kids. The stakes are too high and the efforts we all make to pull off this event brings a lifetime of memories for these students as they embark on their futures.
As a community, we have always received tremendous support. There is a community walk-through that night around 8:00 pm and it is a wonderful way to show off all the hard work and provide a glimpse into their future.
How We Do It
Pulling off After Prom for a class of more than 370 seniors, is no small task. It takes 300+ volunteers, about $30,000, and an incredible community effort to create a safe, unforgettable night for our students. Here's how:

A Total Transformation
For one night only, the school is completely transformed into a secret theme that students don't see coming. Classrooms, hallways, and gyms become something entirely different-and the results are always worth the surprise. (Want a sneak peak? Join our community walk-through from 8-10 PM.)

All-Night Entertainment
Students arrive around midnight and the energy doesn't stop until 6:00 AM. From music and games to tournaments, inflatables, cards, contests, and more, there's always something happening and always someone cheering.

Games & Big Prizes
Students earn tickets all night by joining in the fun, then enter them for the chance to win a huge range of prizes. To keep everyone safe and together, prizes are awarded only to students who stay through the end of the event. Since 2023, every senior who stayed all night has taken home a prize.

Food to Keep It Going
An all-night party needs fuel. Food, snacks, and drinks keep everyone energized, hydrated, and ready for whatever comes next.

Powered by Volunteers
Behind the scenes, hundreds of parent and community volunteers make the magic happen-from decorating and running games to service food and cheering students on.
